Dr. Curtis Dodson  Poet, Bible Teacher Seminar Developer, Degreed Therapeutic Counselor Dr. Dodson is a nationally known Motivational Speaker, Poet, Bible Teacher, Seminar Developer, and Degreed Counselor.  For more than thirty-five years, he has been inspiring audiences all across America with his uplifting, passionate and empowering words.  His is a full, rich resume which includes participation in many Youth Programs, Women Conference, Men's Retreats and a multitude of speaking engagements at a variety of schools, colleges and churches. Dr. Dodson holds a B.A. Degree in Psychiatric Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, where he also completed thirty units towards his M.A. Degree, eventually attaining honors prior to receiving his Doctorate in Christian Counseling, Living Waters Theological University. A former Youth Counselor with L.A. County Probation Department.  A Psychiatric Social Worker for the V.A. Hospital in Long Beach California.  A Social Worker in San Bernardino Country, Child Protective Services,  Dean of a K-12 alternative school for At Risk Kids and American Christian Military Academy of Excellence.  Dr Dodson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table in any setting in which has is involved.  He works well with others and respects that fact that each person has something to contribute to the process of making things better. Dr. Dodson served for ten years as youth director of Tridestone C.O.G.I.C. in Los Angeles, CA, where it was his to design and implement new creative religious and social activities for all the two hundred plus youth of the church.  He presented a yearly budget, established a yearly calendar, promoted the growth and general welfare of the department.  He was a young adult Sunday School Teacher for more than twenty five years and an instructor in New Gethsemane's School of Ministry.  As counselor, he has counseled persons with varied problems.  This group included individuals, couples, families and groups that needed help in recognizing their dysfunctional behavior corrective action and develop a new life plan to assist them in reaching their goals. Dr. Dodson has received numerous commendation and awards from the U.S. House of Representatives, California State Senate, California, State  Assembly and many other civic and social organizations for his many years of service tot he community state and country.  He has also served in the U.S. Air Force where he rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant.  Dr Dodson has also volunteered thousand of hours to non-profit groups over the years.
